Also it has been the hard-cashed export items since then, Nepal has been known for its skilled artistic hand products of all Pashmina varieties since medieval ages, The value of pashmina stems from a simple case of supply and demand. There is very little of it produced each year. It usually take s a Himalayan goat years to grow enough pashmina fleece for one sweater. There are 4 miles of yarn in a typical pashmina sweater. Another aspect of it is that Himalayan goats that produce quality fiber cannot be reared fine, silky insulating undercoat. This is what is combed from each goat by hand in the spring. The purest pashmina fleece is found only in animals of high Himalayas. The pashmina has received added status as it has been and is still used by, queens and other royalty since medieval ages.

The shawls are hand woven on wraps of spun silk which give them added suppleness and strength. In recent times, there is a high demand for these unique pashmina and silk-blended shawls.

Our shawls usually come with the twisted and knotted fringe but we can also make shawls without fringes if specified. The fringes are carefully knotted by hand which demands deftness of the fingers and a lot of care and attention.

We also offer custom made shawls with intricate embroidery and delicate beaded work- all done by expert hands.

Quality checks are carried out at every stage fo production. The shawls are ready for packing after they have been mounded, dyed, softened by hand, triple washed, ironed and checked for a final time. We currently offer 100% pashmina gauge ring shawls, silk/pashmina ring shawls, silk/pashmina jacquard weaves, velvet shawls, water shawls and beaded and embroidered shawls in some 210 different eye-catching shades.
